Gov. Paul LePage pledges repeal of health care reform

Maine Governor Paul LePage pledged Tuesday to join a number of states in opposing President Obama’s health care reform law.

The Maine governor was met with a number of protesters, saying they opposed Mr. LePage’s call for joining the multi-state lawsuit against Mr. Obama’s health care reform law.

And while plenty seem to oppose Mr. LePage, it seems the one person who will ultimately decide the matter seems to agree with the Republican

Maine Attorney General William Schneider says there has been no final decision, but he is also inclined to have Maine join the national lawsuit against the health care reform law.

Should Maine decide to join the suit, it would be the latest in a string of states to officially challenge the constitutionality of the health care law passed by Congress last year. A number of states, including Wyoming and Ohio, are considering similar action.
