Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Utah U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch are teaming up.
The two will present at a technology forum on March 25 at 11 a.m. in the Marriott Center in downtown Salt Lake City.
As the chairman of the U.S. Senate Republican High-Tech Task Force, Mr. Hatch has had the opportunity to meet with Zuckerberg on previous occasions.
Mr. Zuckerberg will answer questions regarding his area of expertise, including an innovator’s point of view about technology, growth and social media. Sen. Hatch will answer the questions dealing with public policy.
The invitation comes as Facebook is facing scrutiny from a number of U.S. Senators. The members are calling on Facebook to “reconsider this policy,” or at least “block this feature for Facebook users between 13 and 17 years of age.”
Mr. Zuckerberg faced criticism earlier after lapses in the site’s privacy policy were revealed.
