Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), the son of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, promoted his father’s latest money bomb via email Thursday. The “No One But Paul” money bomb, which is scheduled for February 14th, is already being promoted via a series of online ads and emails. The “No One But Paul” money bomb is the Ron Paul Presidential Campaign Committee’s latest effort to raise the necessary funds for their candidate to compete in the Arizona and Michigan primaries at the end of February and the eleven elections on Super Tuesday at the beginning of March.
“It’s up to you and me to make sure Ron Paul can keep picking up delegates and keep racking up strong finishes like we’ve seen in Iowa, New Hampshire, and most recently in Minnesota,” Senator Paul wrote in an email to supporters.
“And no one but Ron Paul has what it takes to turn our country around with a return to free markets, sound money, a pro-America foreign policy, and constitutional principles,” Senator Paul added.
Mr. Paul garnered $13 million in the 4th quarter of 2011, according to Politico’s James Hohmann. Mr. Paul, who has perfected the art of online fundraisers, has benefited from a loyal group of supporters who are willing to frequently donate to his campaign. In the 4th quarter of 2011, Mr. Paul’s supporters organized a “Veterans Day” and a “Tea Party” money bomb to help fund his campaign activities through the first round of elections.
Mr. Paul’s “No One But Paul” money bomb will help the Texas congressman fund various campaign activities and ad buys as he tries to promote his candidacy in thirteen different states.
Despite a third place finish in the Nevada Caucuses last Saturday, Mr. Paul is confident that his campaign strategy is working. After securing second place in the Minnesota Caucuses on Tuesday, Mr. Paul told his supporters that “we did very well tonight. We had a very, very strong second place — and it’s going to continue.”
“The great news is, while other candidates focus on beauty contests, my father is making an impact where it really counts – in the race for delegates,” Senator Paul posited.
Although former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum stole Mr. Paul’s thunder Tuesday night with victories in Missouri, Minnesota and Colorado, voter turnout reveals growing enthusiasm for the Texas congressman’s candidacy in 2012.
“No one but my father, Ron Paul, has pledged to cut $1 trillion during the first year of his presidency and balance the budget by year three,” Senator Paul professed.
