Today, Congressman Brian Bilbray (CA-50) issued the following statement in support of H.R. 3630, The Middle Class Tax Relief & Job Creation Act of 2011:
“With nearly one in ten San Diegans out of work and a private sector struggling to create jobs in an environment plagued by uncertainty and unnecessary regulations, Washington must focus on what it can achieve now to provide much needed relief to the American tax payer.
That is why I voted in support of the Middle Class Tax Relief & Job Creation Act, to protect workers from a tax increase in January and to help American families struggling to make ends meet in our difficult economy. This legislation extends current payroll tax relief, protects Social Security, reforms and extends unemployment insurance, and extends pro-growth tax relief for small businesses.”
