Former Republican presidential candidate and Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty has joined the board of directors of an Atlanta-based supply chain and retail technology provider.
RedPrairie Corporation announced Tuesday that Minnesota’s former Republican governor was joining its board effective immediately. Pawlenty left office last January and mounted a campaign for the Republican presidential nomination but dropped out in August after finishing third in a key poll of likely Iowa caucus-goers.
The company noted Pawlenty’s experience in the public and private sectors and work as governor on encouraging economic development on behalf of Minnesota businesses.
