| Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty Heads to Colorado | ||||
| July 13, 2010 | ||||
| For the second time in as many years, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is heading out to Colorado to the Aspen Institute in Colorado. The governor will join a panel of fellow GOP governors. A spokesman said Mr. Pawlenty will head to the swing-state on Wednesday and will be in Colorado through Friday. The panel will feature number of key Republican governors. Attendants include Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour, Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle and Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell. The quick jaunt to Colorado comes in the midst of Mr. Pawlenty ramping up what many expect is a run for president in 2012. Over the weekend, Mr. Pawlenty spent time in New Hampshire and he will travel to Iowa later this month. Both states are early presidential primary states. The trip to Colorado will likely keep fuel on the fire of speculation. |
